Polzeath is a small village on the north coast of Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. There are lifeguards on the beach between 10 and 6 in the season. Works best on North West/West swell and winds from the east. A shallow shelved beach means this can be a gentler wave than other places on this coast. Ideal for learners and improvers, it can get pretty busy in the middle of the School holidays. There are excellent facilities on land, with surf shops, accommodation and surf schools.
