George Schofield takes Elusive Welsh Open 2010 crown

After 3 previous attempts, the Elusive Welsh Open was finally held in solid 4'-6' waves, under blue skies and Winter sunshine.

After a tricky first couple of heats, conditions settled for some excellent displays of surfing including an amazing barrel and near perfect ride from Pembroke's Alex Morris.

There were many standout performances throughout the day leading to a breathtaking finale, Liam Murray Strout progressing as top U'18, Rebecca Owens top female & Porthcawl's George Schofield taking the top honours.
