After the success of its last exclusive collection in 2010, Quiksilver Union has teamed up this year with Simon Anderson, one of the most renowned shapers of the world. For this coming spring a unique collection of tee-shirts and board shorts has been created using as a base the graphics and inspirations of the first Thrusters shaped by Simon Anderson. This limited line of products can be found exclusively in the Quiksilver Union core shops.

Father of modern surfboard design
30 years ago, using the Thruster for the first time, Simon Anderson won such mythical competitions like Bells in Australia or the Pipe Master in Hawaii. This strong surfer is particularlyrecognized by his revolutionary idea of putting three ns of the same size on his board.1981 was, therefore, an important year for the surng world with the Thrusters’ arrival, which changed the way of surng. Nowadays, almost all surfers use this type of surfboard (everyday and during competitions). To discover more about this surfing legend, don’t hesitate to buy his new book titled “Thrust” that retraces his amazing life.
