It's a Sorky Earplug (not a Ceti eel)..... PDF Print E-mail

At first glance I thought this was a Ceti eel from the Wrath of Kahn (kaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhn!....anybody?!); but it is in fact a brand new and innovative Earplug form Sorky.

The benefits of this newly designed silicone earplug are that not only does it stop water ingress into the ear, but because of its Sympatex recycled membrane means that you can still hear perfectly, thus not affecting your balance.

A bloke who put them in his ears said, ‘In my personal experience, after trying several ear plugs (Silicon, foam, etc), I´ve always had the urge to take them out, because of the noise cancelling property and related loss of input for the hearing sensory system that those "normal" ear plugs provide. After using Sorky ear plugs I became astonished by the quality of materials and the technology involved, is just amazing, and it really preserves our hearing sensory system, which allows me to stay longer in the water and it doesn´t disrupt my balance whilst surfing’

They look top bananas to me, and they're available now in stores across the UK.

honestly the above review is just nonsense and barry davies has obviously never had these plugs in his ears
just wish some one would honestly review these plugs instead of all the corp hype they're putting out
btw please employ native speakers otherwise the blurb just comes across as utter nonsense and bs

These plugs have truly given me my life back!!!
Being an avid surfer one of my ears is 3/4 closed and the other is normal. I use a single plug in the affected ear and there is approx 25% hearing loss depending on the fit (remember my ear looks like a crescent moon and these plugs are round but VERY flexible). I have spent half of every day in the water for the last four months with no water left in my ear! I even use these in the shower, swiming etc as they are always on my keyring:-) IMHO, I canot recommend these enough...YEW

I've used these with hats, hoods, beachies, pointbreaks and outer bombies to 10foot and they've never come out...not even budged!. Any bigger then 10ft and they may increase the chance of a burst eardrum though? (I'm no doctor but)
