Sad news today as authorities have confirmed that the body washed up at South Fistral last Thursday, was that of Mark Neville. Originally from Glasgow, Mark came to Newquay when he was 20 and through his love of surfing quickly started to shape boards. He launched his own label Natural Flight soon after and traded for five years before joining Seabase where he became their principle shaper. During his time there he became one of the best shapers in the country and shaped hundreds of boards especially under the Stewart and Hobie range, putting sticks under the feet of some of our best surfers including World Games silver medalist Ben Skinner.
Respected by his peers, surfers across the country and friends alike, the Scotsman will be sadly missed. We extend our deepest condolences to family and friends.
