The Realm Team Rider Leon Mansfield wins British Pro Tour under 16s title in an impressive way
Leon Mansfield wins under 16s British pro Tour, winning an incredible 4 out of 6 events. This has been a great year for Leon after winning the first event he never looked back. Leon also finished 4th in the B.S.A. (British Surfing Association) under 18s rankings, when you consider two people placed above him will be to old next year for the category it’s another fantastic achievement for him.
Leon will now concentrate on training this winter and will step up to the Pro Juniors, on the British Pro Surfing Tour next year. It will prove to be a lot more challenging, but with results like these we don’t think it will be to long until he is in the winners circle again.
The Realm has been part of the Double Overhead distribution in the U.K. Brad Hockridge director said of Leon’s achievements” This has been outstanding this year, we at AXL / DOH are so happy for him and his surfing, we have no doubt that there will be many more victory’s for Leon in 2010.”
The Realm was born in Southern California in 1997 by noted surfers Pat O Connell and Mike Parsons they built an impressive team including Tom Curren and Donavan Frankenreiter. Today the Realm has distribution in U.S.A, U.K, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Holland, France and Japan.
