10-11 SEPTEMBER - PORTHOWAN, ENGLAND....

The VQS Sidfish started last Saturday at its regular location -Porthtowan in Cornwall- with 4 to 5 foot swell rolling and the gigantic tide almost as low as it gets.
Around 110 competitors signed up and the contest started quickly. The weather was deteriorating fast with crazy wind gusts and the swell was still building but with the incoming tide gave some good shape to the waves and there were plenty of good ones to be had.

On the Sunday, all semi and finals were held in the beautiful village of St Agnes and the surf was macking.
