What have Wavelength Magazine and Vinny Jones got in common? We’ve both got a lot of issues... In fact, Wavelength has just hit a massive landmark with our 200th issue hitting the shelves right now, and to celebrate, instead of kicking someone in the head, we decided to make what is in our humble opinion, the best issue of Wavelength ever. How did we do it? First we redesigned the whole mag, taking out all the pages that you used to flick past and replacing them with good honest wave porn. Then we sent Selway to shoot some of the sickest Moroccan perfection you will ever see, Nunn into the frigid death pits of Number 10s and Martin around the Cornish coast with £40 of diesel (short straw again.) There’s also some insider knowledge on how to actually do an air (rather than a water wheelie), stories from 5 generations of female surfers, the truth behind some of our previous issues, a gallery that will make the back of your eyes hurt, AND... (breath) a HUUAGE FREE A1 poster with every Wavelength cover on one side and an Insane Lunasurf Kandui barrel with Ian Battrick tucked up inside. This is how surf mags should be... we’ve just raised the game. How did we do it? Like Vinny said, it’s been emotional.
200th Issue: Holy cow. it's the 200th issue and there's a FREE HUGE A1 double sided poster... BOOM
200 Miles: Greg Martin, a van and a tank of fuel...
Morocco: Selway scores BIGTIME with Sam Lamiroy, Cory Lopez and Micah Lester...
Edge of The Earth Project: Timmy in the wilds of Scotland with some serious swell...
This way up: These kids are gettin' real high in Portugal...
Vision: Some serious eye candy for the water junky...
200 collective: 5 female surfers-5 eras in British surfing
Take cover: The good the bag and the ugly, a brief history of some WL classic covers since '81
