Plans for Run to the Sun 2008 are on their way, were aiming to tower above 2007's event and give you something even superior, with more world class DJ's, talented live bands, hilarious comedians and of course the VW’s and Custom Cars.  All 4 arenas return again for this year with a complete change around! The beer garden and white knuckle rides will also be returning to give you the thrill of your life. We have decided to move the live bands & comedy downstairs into the larger club, due to the overwhelming interest each year! Upstairs will be the new Chill Out Lounge, complete with cabaret style tables and chairs for a laid back, relaxed feel. Somewhere for you to take the weight off your feet and have a drink & a good old chin wag with friends, in a cozy relaxed atmosphere! Complete with Karaoke and a DJ. Don’t worry; we haven’t forgotten the traditional party nights downstairs, they will just be starting slightly later after the live acts. Especially the legendary 60's/70's night on the Sunday to include live 60's/70's band.Thousands of people will be setting off from all over the UK to come down and visit Trevelgue Holiday Park in Newquay which is the home of Run to the Sun. As usual the sexy boys from Volksworld will be organising the cruise and leading you from London straight down to sunny Newquay. As well as judging the VW’S in the show n shine. The NASC (National Association for Street Clubs) will be judging the custom cars again this year. So make sure your baby is all polished up! SO WHAT'S ON? We have 3 days and 3 nights of top class entertainment, including the latest dance tunes and the classic oldies. Nothing can prepare you for the pumping main arena. Cranstar Events aim to produce another outstanding line-up in the Main Arena, which will host some of the finest DJ's. Friday night will feature Fedde le Grand, Boy George (tbc) & Ben McGowan. Saturday night will present Mauro Picotto, Fergie & Adam Beyer with Marco V, Sander Van Doorm and Lisa Lashes on the Sunday night. You don’t get much better than that! The Main Arena comes fully complete with intelligent lighting and a massive 5 laser spectacular. The stage will also show live performances including dancers and many more sexy performers. Arena 2 (The Marquee) The old Chill Out Tent will now be a second Main Arena, with a number of top DJ’s, banging out the latest dance tunes. Arena 3 (The Octagon) will be hosting a variety of top class comedians and live bands; we will have 2 top class comedians each night as well as live music from the likes of Three Minute Warning, The Van Daniels, Black Jack & the Hookers, Pronghorn & The Colour Sound Nation. Arena 3 (The Chill Out Lounge) - The old Cabaret Bar, somewhere for you to sit down, take the weight off your feet and relax with friends.
