Two Events In and Gul Team Rider Mark “Egor” Harris Leads the UK Pro Surf Tour  Over the weekend of 23rd and 24th of June, Lusty Glaze beach in Newquay played host to the 2007 Fat Face Night Surf, the second event on the UK Pro Surf Tour. The weekend’s results have given Gul team rider Egor Harris the lead on the UK Pro Tour. Despite the less than perfect surf an impressive field of competitors turned out including two WQS surfers, Australian Jarred Sullivan and British number one, Egor’s Gul team mate, Russell Winter. The field was eventually whittled down to the final four consisting of former UK Pro Tour champion Egor and Shaun “Skippy” Skilton, along with the contest favourites Jarred and Russell. World class experience showed through, with Russell and Jarred picking the better waves. Jarred finished in the top spot with Russell claiming second position and the Relentless Money Manouevre Award for the best floater of the contest. Shaun and Egor battled it out for third and forth respectively. Egor surfed confidently through his heats to secure his place in the final of the Fat Face Night Surf. His result here has given him enough points to secure the lead on the UK Pro Surf Tour. He now has a few months at the top of the leader board over the summer until the next contest, the Hot Tuna British Challenge, on the 24th and 25th of August.
