Perranporth sits at the west end of the vast Piran sands. There are peaks the whole length of the two mile long beach which pick up any swell going. Best on a south easterly the beach will also handle a bit of south wind as well as north in the eastern corner. The town its self has a full range of facilities, from supermarkets to banks to surf shops and is a great place to be based for a surfing holiday in the south west.
