Happy New Year everyone and let's hope we get some good swells over the next few months.

We've had a good swell on and off over Christmas and the next say or so look OK depending on wind direction.

But I think we deserve more to make up for the last few months.

Anyway let's make sure that we make use of what we get.

How did it go?

I managed to get a few times over Christmas/New Year.  Waves were pretty good but how I wish I could stay in for longer that an hour without my feet freezing! New boots needed I reckon.

Looks like a big swell on the way this weekend as well :))

The session went well 4ft + ish at Polzeath and cleanish, so happy days.

Yeah I would say that new boots are needed, I manage 2 hours usually, but I've had

big brain freeze over Christmas, so I'm thinking about investing in a hoody - I'm probably too mean though.

Pretty stoked about the swell this weekend 7/8 Jan but I'm not sure about the wind speed and direction.

It could really mess it up - but all good practice.

by the way when did the price of a quality pair of boots go up from £25 to nearly £50 !!! harsh, looks like the toes will just have to freeze to next year :(

Yeah shocking - but you migh tget lucky and find some in the sales.
