Im looking to go on a surfing holiday and i was wondering if anyone had been to any they would recommend, i was thinking about Indonesia but im open to any suggestions

Indo's a good call.

Best surf trip I've been on was Bali for the first 3 weeks of September, just before the rainy season.  It really is paradise for surfers - We only had a few days without swell and had loads of offshore winds days.  I wouldn't have thought it'd be too suitable for beginners tho as most of the best spots are reef breaks but otherwise a great choice IMO.    jealousasf*ck.com ;)

I am also too fond of surfing,I have spent surfing vacations many times in Canada.And I could say,it is the best place in the world for skiing.What a fabulous beaches there? And I met many good surfers there and they all agree with me about Canada is the best place for skiing.

Tant is right you should considerate Fuerteventura as great option.Staying in Corralejo you are right in the north shore where almost all fuerteventura surf spots are. Climate and water are warm all year round. It is much cheaper than indo bc is much closer and Corralejo offers all water sports activities and many Surf Camp where you can stay and learn to surf pretty cheap.
