After a few slack summer days when longboarders seem to getting all the waves and nice long rides.  And also as there's a local break that looks pretty good for a longboard but not steep enough for me on my shortboard I've decided to look for a longboard to add to my quiver. Due to finances I'll be starting the search in the second hand market - any tips are welcome ?

Hi Harbourwall

 I had a quick look around Youtube for you and there were a couple of terrible advice vids on there.  However this one seems pretty good, although I know very little about longboarding myself.

Dependant on cash mate boardriders have a VERY and i mean VERY good surftech sale on logs was super tempted but have to many boards all ready

A friend of mine works for Escape - they've got some vids on the longboards they sell online that give good information on what to look out for in longboard board design.  Could be worth a check, Nose Rider Longboard
