It was a slowish start yesterday to the Highland Open, small, rippable Brimms Ness served up enough to get things rolling. But it looks like the gods of surf are smilling on Scotland. Whilst the rest of the Atlantic lays totally dormant there are a couple of pulses of solid north swell on the way. North swell means one thing up there, Thurso East, although the peak of it looks onshore the final day could see some sneaky easterlies cleaning things up, stay tuned.
